Alison Grieve is the founder of G-Hold, an Edinburgh-based IP-rich technology hardware company specialising in the ergonomics of holding, for which she has raised over £1m in equity and non-dilutive finance, in addition to mixed revenue streams, including worldwide distribution and IP licensing agreements.
Whilst continuing to lead on G-Hold’s international partnerships, Alison was appointed editor-in-chief at Young Company Finance in 2023.
Grieve sits on the Bank of England’s East of Scotland Agency Panel, and is an advisory board member of the Edinburgh-based start-up Robotical, co-working platform SWURF, and sustainable bio-waste materials start-up Alterwaste, the latter of which was acquired by US-based TGI in 2023.
