Callum Russell is Co-Founder of LiYF Bioethanol Ltd, a biotechnology venture developing next-generation bioethanol production from sustainable feedstocks. A chemical engineer specialising in sustainable bioprocessing, his doctoral research focused on extracting high-value biochemical compounds from microalgae using Switchable Hydrophilicity Solvents. His experience spans industrial biotechnology, carbon capture and low-carbon process design, with a focus on translating emerging clean technologies into scalable, commercially viable solutions.
