Evangelos Katsoulis

With a strong foundation in veterinary medicine from the University of Thessaly, and an MSc. in Infection Biology from the University of Glasgow, I bring a unique perspective to the intersection of public health and food safety. My academic journey also includes participation in a summer program on edible insects at Wageningen University.

Currently serving as a Senior Policy Advisor for the Cell-Cultivated Product Sandbox at Food Standards Scotland, I contribute to shaping policies for novel foods. My experience as an Official Veterinarian further grounds my work in food safety standards. I remain driven by a commitment to advancing food safety and public health, while setting up appropriate policies for the future.
