Fiona Mischel

Fiona is the Associate Director of Strategic Development at Holiferm, a commercial-scale UK biochemicals company focused on biosurfactants. Her work covers business development, strategic partnerships, investment, and developing compelling narratives to illustrate the impact of the bioeconomy. She has expertise in global bioeconomy policy and collaboration. Fiona began her career in science communication, and she previously worked as the Director of International Outreach for SynBioBeta. She was previously a member of the OECD's Expert Focus Group on Synthetic Biology.
