Hannah Boardman
Hannah is the Director for Technologies, Growth & Security in the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology. She is responsible for the secure proliferation of emerging technologies including Engineering Biology, Quantum Technologies, Robotics and Advanced Materials, determining how Government invests, regulates and partners with academia, industry and other countries. Hannah also leads core elements of the UK's Industrial Strategy focused on the high growth Science and Technology sectors and is responsible for the direct investment activity of the National Security Strategic Investment Fund (NSSIF) as a core intervention in the security and growth of emerging technologies. Prior to joining DSIT, Hannah was Director for Advanced Manufacturing in the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, supporting the transformation of core industrial sectors including Automotive and Aerospace.
