Mark Maslin
Mark Maslin BSc, PhD, FRGS, FRSA Professor at University College London and the United Nations University. He is a leading scientist with particular interest in understanding the impacts, politics, and solutions to climate change. Professor Maslin has published over 220 papers in journals such as Nature, Science, and The Lancet. He has received research, consultancy and training funding worth over £85m from government, charities, NGOs and the private sector.
Prof. Maslin has advised a wide range of companies and organisation on their sustainability strategy and their pathway to net zero. Professor Maslin has written 10 books and over 100 popular articles and regularly appears on radio and television. His books recent include ‘Climate Change: A Very Short Introduction: 4th edition’ (2021), ‘How to save our planet: the facts’ (2021) and ‘Climate change: science, politics and solutions’ (2026).
