Nick Challoner
Nick is the Chief Executive Officer of Ingenza Limited, an integrated CRDMO focusing on the use of engineering biology and associated technologies to solve the problems faced by customers in the areas of Human/Animal Health and Sustainable Technologies
Nick commenced employment with Croda in 1993 as a R&D Chemist with responsibility for new product development utilising Crodas innovative biopolymer platform, and with a career spanning more than 30 years Nick held numerous roles within throughout the group across R&D, sales and marketing, business management, leadership and governance capacities, with roles in the UK and in international locations within Asia Pacific and the Americas. Nick served on the Executive Committee of Croda for 12 years with responsibility for both geographical regions and for market sectors across this period.
Nick has spent time supporting industry/sector development activities in the area of industrial biotechnology as a member of the IB Leadership Forum and has served as an elected council member of the UK Society of Cosmetic Chemists. Nick has also chaired the Industrial Advisory Board for the Dept. of Chemistry at The University of Sheffield and has served as a member of the Board of Trustees at the Society of the Chemical Industry.
Originally from Nottingham, Nick is married with three grown up children and lives in the market town of Bawtry in South Yorkshire. Nick has a strong passion for sports and outdoor activities.
