Rhian Hayward

Dr. Rhian Hayward MBE joined AberInnovation as CEO in January 2017 and has lead the establishment of the company and the development of the Campus. Rhian is currently a Board member of the Food Standards Agency, and has held other public appointments including member of the Welsh Industrial Development Advisory Board, and Food and Drink Industry Board, for Welsh Government. Before moving to Mid Wales Rhian held marketing and business development roles in university spin out companies in the South East of the UK and knowledge exchange roles in the Higher Education sector. Rhian has a DPhil from University of Oxford and a BSc from King’s College London. She was awarded the MBE for services to Entrepreneurship in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List 2016.
