Russ Tucker
Russ is the co-founder and CEO at twig, a bioengineering start-up which is combining AI, robotics and biology. twig's goal is to drive a global transition to sustainable, reliable and innovative bio-fermented ingredients in a way that benefits everyone – people, producers, and the planet. Before twig, Russ co-founded cultivated meat pioneer Ivy Farm, and worked as a management consultant at Boston Consulting Group. He holds a D.Phil. in Biomedical Engineering from Oxford and is a Fellow Chartered Accountant. Outside of twig, Russ champions good science policy. He was previously a Progress Fellow at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, tackling novel food regulation, and is currently a Trustee at Sense About Science.
